Problem
Users cannot see the Create branch or Create Pull/Merge Request actions in the Jira issue sidebar.
Solution
The Create branch and Create Pull/Merge Requests features are enabled by connecting to one of the Add new (Auto-Connect) integrations.
- Navigate to the Manage Git repositories screen
- Select one of the Add new (Auto-Connect) options (GitHub, GitLab, etc)
- Complete the integration connection wizard steps
See integration guides for each Auto-Connect option.
The regular Git integration option does not offer the Create branch and Create pull/merge request features.
